Label-ready nutrition values from your actual product.
Label validation
We check your food label against FSSAI labelling and claims rules and back the nutrition values and claims with laboratory testing, so your pack is compliant before it goes to print.
Food label compliance
Label validation is a review of a food label against the rules that apply to it, such as the FSSAI Labelling and Display Regulations, 2020, combined with laboratory testing of the declared values and claims.
Food labels must include a list of mandatory declarations, and nutrition values, allergen statements and claims must be accurate. Mistakes can lead to misbranding action and costly reprints.
Accurate Universal Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. tests the values on your label, such as nutrition and allergens, and helps you check the label against FSSAI requirements before printing.

Why label validation matters
A wrong label can mean misbranding action, product withdrawal and the cost of reprinting packaging. Checking it first is far cheaper.

FAQs
Mandatory declarations include the name of the food, ingredients list, nutrition information, veg or non-veg logo, allergen declaration where applicable, name and address of the manufacturer, FSSAI logo and licence number, net quantity, date marking, lot number and instructions for use where needed.
Missing or incorrect nutrition values, missing allergen declarations, claims that the product does not meet, wrong logos or licence numbers, and incorrect date marking.
Values measured on your actual product are the most reliable, because recipes and processing change composition. Laboratory testing is what regulators and buyers accept if a value is questioned.
Food with incorrect or misleading labelling can be treated as misbranded under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, which can lead to penalties and product withdrawal.
